What to Wear

Choose outfits that complement each other rather than matching exactly. Soft, neutral colours photograph beautifully and create a timeless look.

Some great colour combinations include:

  • Sand and white

  • Denim, light blue ,stone and white neutrals

  • Blush, white and sand

  • If you have a strong print or colour really want to wear let me know we can work the shoot around it

Flowy dresses work beautifully for mums, while linen shirts and neutral tops are great for dads. For children, comfort is key.

Please avoid: neon colours, large logos, graphic prints and busy patterns.

What happens if it rains?

I will contact you the afternoon before your session to confirm the weather and final shoot time. If conditions aren’t suitable, we’ll discuss the best option for rescheduling.

What to Bring

  • Water

  • Insect repellent

  • Snacks for little ones

  • Any comfort items your child may need

Preparing for Your Shoot

Don’t worry about teaching your children how to pose or smile. The best photographs come from genuine moments and natural interactions.

Instead, think about the little things that make your family unique. A favourite song, a special game, a rhyme that ends in giggles, or a family dance can all help create authentic and meaningful memories during your session.
